What to Do
1)Computer needs to sit straight ahead or lead to a minimal amount of head rotation. 2)Have a slight upward tilt (10 degrees) to the screen if possible. 3)Have the bottom ½ of the computer screen at eye level. This keeps the neck up and angled, vs. looking at a downward angle
4)Stay close to the computer to prevent shoulder rounding/hunchback. 5)Have a 90 degree angle at the shoulder AND elbow joint to prevent wrist, shoulder, and upper back issues. 6)Make sure your eyesight/eyewear is adequate to prevent forward head posture.
7)Ensure shoulder blades are “back and down”-Again this prevents rounding of the shoulders. 8)Sit at the edge of your chair to prevent slouching OR have a lumbar pad. 9)Wrist stay neutral while typing.
10)Use a wobble disc every hour for 5 to 10 minutes to maintain mobility of your lower back.
